My name is Autumn Laws and I have been studying the tarot since 2014. I have journaled over 8,500+ words on my own personal readings in 2020 alone. While I consider tarot reading a form of divination, I prefer to use the tarot in a more modern way as a tool to promote healing and acceptance of the self and one’s environment. I would love to join you in unlocking the power of the tarot as a tool for self-care and empowerment. I am a queer, disabled, non-monogamous reader and I welcome any readings on topics related to these or other marginalized identities.

About tarot

Tarot is a pictorial card game that dates back to the mid-15th century. The practice of reading tarot as a form of divinatory practice started around the 1750s, with the Marseilles tarot deck. In 1909, the Rider Company published the Smith-Waite deck, which is now the most common imagery associated with tarot reading. Modernly, tarot has become more than just a card came or divinatory tool: now, tarot is commonly used as a self-care practice to connect with one’s true self.
